Our Mission
At Abigail's Army, we are dedicated to making a positive impact in our community. Abigail started her brave journey battling brain cancer in July of 2021. She was treated at both Morristown PICU and Children’s Specialized Hospital of New Brunswick by a dedicated team of nurses, doctors, child life specialists, therapists, and staff who cared for Abby. We saw first-hand the love and care provided to all these brave kids and also the struggle each family lives through having to care for a child in a long term hospital stay.
After Abigail’s passing we started Abigail’s Army to assist families in long term hospital care. In addition to helping families in the hospital we are dedicated to honoring Abby’s memory with local scholarships to Byram Elementary and Lenape Valley Regional High School to deserving students. We also raise awareness for Pediactric cancer and organ donation and try to emulate Abby’s positive spirit and compassion.
